How do I play against a friend?
Pick a game, type your name and start a challenge. You get a short beatme.link link. Send it by WhatsApp, iMessage, text or anywhere else. Your friend taps it, accepts, and you play right in the browser.
Do we both have to be online at the same time?
No. In turn-based games like Connect 4, each of you moves whenever you like and the link keeps the game. If you are both online, moves appear live.
How long does a challenge link last?
A link stays alive for 48 hours after the last move, up to 7 days in total. After that it shows the final board and you can start a new one in seconds.
Can other people watch?
Yes. The first person to accept takes the open seat. Anyone else who opens the link can watch the game live.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. Every game is designed for phones first and works just as well on tablets and computers.
